1. Our commitment
SEHTEK is authorized by the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel) and processes personal data in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
We never sell your data, we never use your health documents for advertising, and we never transfer them to servers outside Morocco.
2. What we collect
- Invite requests: your email address and the language of the page you used.
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
- Your health documents: the files you upload and the details added to them, such as titles, dates, tags, and body areas.
- Information read from your documents: key values, medications, and dates extracted when document reading is used.
- Sharing activity: the links you create, their settings (password, expiry), and when they are opened.
- Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, browser and device type, and security events.
3. How we use it
- To provide your archive and the features you ask for, such as reading and organizing documents.
- To keep your account and the Service secure, and to prevent abuse.
- To contact you about your invitation, your account, and important changes.
- To improve SEHTEK, using aggregated information that does not identify you.
4. Your health data
Health data is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Your archive is private by default: only you can access it. Our team does not look at your documents unless you ask us to for support, or if we are legally required to.
Documents are stored on our own servers, hosted in Morocco and operated in-house — never on international servers or foreign cloud providers. Files are encrypted at rest and in transit, scanned for malware when uploaded, and location metadata is removed from photos automatically. Every access and share is recorded in an audit log.
5. Automatic document reading
Document reading is performed by an AI model running on our own infrastructure in Morocco. Your documents are not sent to third-party AI services abroad, and they are never used to train models.
Extracted details can contain mistakes. Always check them against the original document. SEHTEK does not diagnose or give medical advice.
7. How long we keep it
- Invite requests: until you receive access or ask us to remove your request.
- Account and documents: for as long as your account is active.
- When you delete a document or your account, it is removed from your archive and then erased from our systems within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Your rights
Under Law No. 09-08, you have the right to access your personal data, to correct it, to object to its processing for legitimate reasons, and to ask for it to be deleted. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@sehtek.ma. We will reply as soon as possible.
You can also file a complaint with the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel) at www.cndp.ma.
10. Children
SEHTEK is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please use SEHTEK only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as SEHTEK evolves. We will publish the new version on this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
